Some of the activities and services which real estate agents perform in Dubai include real estate buying and selling, Real Estate leasing broker, mortgage broker, property management services, real estate valuation services, property inspection services, real estate survey services and many more.

RERA thus brings forward a set of requirements for each activity and conducts a test which every real estate agent needs to pass to occupy the license. The test is based on written questions related to the real estate market and realestate laws in Dubai. Once the test is cleared the real estate agent gets the required license and is ready to explore the real estate market of Dubai.

For becoming a real estate agent in Dubai it is really important for an agent to get proper knowledge about the real estate market. The best way of doing that is to work under a well reputed real estate firm, agent or company for a certain time period preferably for 6 to 9 months and get a complete know how about the market. Other than that having a dynamic personality and possessing excellent communication and negotiation skills is also important for becoming a real estate agent. So, if you want to become a real estate agent in Dubai then you need to workout on all these things mentioned above.

    I don’t think it’s easy to sell a house in Dubai. If you’re not born there, you’ll be needing a lot of documents to present before starting the job. I mean all of the things there are strictly monitored by their Government.

    Your article is enlightening but somewhat lacks more info.
    If I can understand it correctly. In order for an aspiring agent to practice real estate activities (whichever they maybe), the individual needs to be hired first in a reputable company who will sponsor this individual without any licence at all?
    I have looked into the RERA website. The website is not very helpful in giving out the information as far as real estate agent licencing goes. Can you please clarify this question to me? I am very interested in obtaining a job opportunity here in Dubai Real Estate. I currently have a (US) (CA) DRE Real Estate Agent Licence. My email is provided in the boxes.
