Nakheel one of the largest developers of real estate in Dubai has finally handed over the sixth and the final tower at Marina Residences which was under construction. Shimizu Corporation, one of the largest contractors of Japan is the constructor, this project was started last year. Group Managing Directory Nakheel, Marwan Al Qamzi, expressed satisfaction saying, “It is yet another major milestone for Palm Jumeirah as we receive handover of the final building at Marina Residences. We have been working closely with world leading contractors Shimizu Corporation during the past few years to deliver this exceptional development on Palm Jumeirah.”

Palm Jumeirah has already proved to be a favorite place in Dubai, to live in. Some of the salient features of the residences include the spacious and luxurious penthouses, world class hotels, and outstanding living standards followed in each residence made. This is a water front development having six residential towers. Already there are estimated to be some 12,000 people living in Palm Jumeirah. Handing over of this sixth tower does not put an end to constructions in Palm Jumeirah. There are said to be large number of projects that will be constructed in the next five to six years. These projects will not only upgrade the look of Palm Jumeirah but also give its residents a lot of things to cherish about. This development includes attractions for the tourists and a lot has been planned to be done for the residents as well including large retail chains, leisure facilities, and life style stores coming to Palm Jumeirah. These planned developments will increase the interest of the already attracted tourists toward the sights and sounds of Dubai and have a significant impact on increasing the appeal of buying real estate in Dubai.
